Cool Blue Illusion

What a cutie!!  What a gorgeous colt this is and two pretty blue eyes to boot.  One of the exceptional things about this foal is his very docile disposition.  He was orphaned at just over a month old and introduced to a surrogate mare from another farm who just lost her newborn foal.  He took the death of his mother in stride and adjusted well to his new mom.  In the process he has received lots of extra handling from us.  He was imprinted at birth but really came to trust people even more as his young life unfolded..  He is very, very sweet.

 

Blue has had all his training for his age and then some.  He has had extensive work in desensitization.  Pretty much nothing bothers him.  You can work on his feet without tieing him, he's taken his shots and intranasal well, he bathes, clips, loads and can even lunge a bit with a pony saddle flapping on his back.  In another year, he will be ready for a rider.  He will be most certainly an excellent companion and trail horse.  He would show well too with his flashy good looks and would show well in other events when he gets older.
