Kachina is much the same as Sedona  in terms of being a good all around horse that everyone wants.  Kachina used to steal other mares' babies when she was younger.  When she was 3 years old, I promised her she could have her very own baby.  She produced her first foal by Magic in 2003.  He was born so early in the season that I never really got a good picture of him, but he is much the same as Penny's foal Cajun only black.  What a personality on that foal.  Just exceptionally friendly, great conformation.  Had he been a Quarter horse or true Paint instead of a breeding stock Paint, I would have kept him for a stud prospect.  He had it all -- looks, personality, conformation, disposition, and quiet.  He was so quiet I could straddle him and lay on him when he was sleeping and he wouldn't move.  As a weanling he was already practically bomb proof.  An excellent pleasure horse.  Kachina is likewise in demand as a lesson horse.  She also attracts the eye of those who like Paint horses and is often the first horse they inquire about.  Her foal sold almost immediately.  For her versatility and desirability, she is one of the most valuable horses on the farm.
